Black Lake

This beautiful place is located in Zabljak, in the National Park Durmitor, among the forests that simply mothers get lost in them. The lake got its name because of the black pine forest that surrounds it, so the water reflects this blackness. In the lake, they bravestly swim, while others enjoy indefinable nature and clean air.

Ostrog monastery

A steep climb and a tidy road prevent large tourist buses from reaching the monastery itself. Although the road is wide enough for cars, bikes and motors, we recommend walking to manatures.

This place is not only for those who undertake spiritual travels, but also for those who want to feel the spirit of history, to visit unforgettable sights, and to witness the incredible.

At Ostrog, we met a couple of Australians on bicycles. When asked why they came here, they said that nature is incredibly beautiful here, and that all of Montenegro is great for cycling, because just passing a few kilometers, the environment is completely changed, from the coast to the woods, and for someone who drives hundreds of kilometers, the most important thing is that the landscape is not uniform.

Winery – Šipčanik

Šipčanik is the wine cellar of the largest winery in Montenegro “13. Jul Plantaže “located at the site of the former military air base. In 2001, advisor Milo Djukanovic suggested that a wine cellar be built from the aircraft base, after 6 years, within a 356-meter tunnel, and 7000 m2, reconstructions were made and the wine cellar was opened. Now there are about 30000 bottles of different ages and species. Excursions are held in Šipčanik, even there is a tasting hall with a surface of 200 m, where you can taste different types of wines “13 Jul Plantaže” and you can also eat tasty here.

Ice cave

On the north-east slope of the Obla Glava Mountain in the Durmitor National Park there is a real “ice kingdom”! When you find yourself think you are in a fairy tale. The ice cave inside looks like a special frozen world that melts even in the hottest time. Within the cave there is a multitude of glaciers and the most interesting figurines – stalagmites and stalactites that originate from droplets of water that sail. Getting to this awesome kingdom is not easy and it’s best to visit it with an experienced guide because in an environment of ice formations there are possible injuries. To reach the cave is possible only by walking in two ways: the first one is from Zabljak and the other from the mountain pass Sedlo, in order to reach the cave it takes 2-3 hours of walking in one direction. Even such a long walk is worth the thing you will see when you arrive.

Mausoleum of Peter II Njegoš – Lovćen

Mount Lovcen rises not far from the city of Kotor, on it is the mausoleum of Peter II Njegoš, ancient churches, caves, numerous monuments of national architecture, restaurants and more than 1000 species of plants. In 1952, the highest part of the mountain wreath Vetrovnik (1749 m) was declared a national park. From the mountain there is a beautiful view of the Bay of Kotor, where millions of people come to enjoy. To the top of the mountain you can easily reach the asphalt road, but in the winter it will be a bit more difficult, because the snow can reach a height of several meters. If you wish, you can sleep in the territory of a national park.

Nevidio Canyon

The name itself says that it is hidden from the “eyes of God” and that is true. The last conquered canyon in Europe was invisible, which was opened in 1965 by professional mountaineers from Niksic. The Nevidio Canyon is a part of the Komarnica river that springs at the foot of Mount Durmitor in a mysterious place. The canyon is between Durmitor and Vojnik, separated by Komarnica. Pure water, high walls, waterfalls, narrow channels over 1 meter long and canyons take away breath. All true nature lovers and extreme sports definitely need to visit the Nevidio canyon.

Lake Skadar

The lake includes an incredibly variable surface, varying from 300 to 500 kilometers square. Here we come to see one of the largest lakes in the Balkans that is distinguished by cryptodepression – namely, its altitude is below the sea level.

Katun Goleš

Katun Goleš is located on 1 600 m, has 5 eco cabin with two beds and one eco cabin with five beds. It is 12 km from the village of Trebaljevo, and 18 km from the center of Kolašin. The catun can be reached from the city center, via Breza, then Radigoino, Trebaljevo,

Donji Lumer (viewpoint from which there is a beautiful view of Lake Biograd with its surroundings) and Goleš. From the catun water of the marked paths in three directions, towards Biogradsko Lake, to Vranjek and Black Head. Please emphasize that this is the Goleš katun of the Čoban, because tourists have the opportunity to hear the bark of the dogs, the birds of twitter, the cactus (bell) of the sheep, and so on. There is a special hut in which food is prepared. Preparation of food is done by the housewife katun. We offer a selection of dishes: Boiled lamb in milk, roast lamb, cicadara, pepper, kacamak, pancakes, homemade kajmak, corn, cake, home made cheese, cow’s milk and sheep sour milk, homemade blueberry juice, honey.

Ethno village Milogora

Ethno village Milogora is located in the small village of Trsa, more precisely on Pivka at an altitude of 1450m. There, on the twelve kilometer of the regional road Plužine-Žabljak, there is the village of Trsa, where for fifteen years has been the national restaurant Milogora, which is recognizable by specialties of local cuisine, of which the most famous lamb is in pairs. Something is why Milogora restaurant is unique in these parts the fact that throughout the summer offers beer cooled in the snow. The geographical position offers great advantages because it is located in the immediate vicinity of the canyon of Piva, Tara and Sušica, and below the slopes of the spruce Durmitor, so that literally in one day you can enjoy these natural beauties in this, in many ways, the most beautiful and most interesting part of Montenegro.

Also ride in these areas is great and a lot of motorcyclists are visiting.

Perast is located in Boka Kotorska, about 14 km away from Kotor, where the Kotor and Risan Bay are separated. Perast is a small town with a very beautiful and colorful architecture. Today it is a very quiet town, which with its beauty attracts modern sailors, travelers, artists, dreamers, eager beauty and peace. In the center of the city there is a square (Pjaca) dominated by the church of Sv. Nicholas with its impressive bell tower, 55 meters high. Over the road of Perast there is the Lady of Škrpjela, an artificial island, which was created by placing stone on the underwater rock.
